Arizona’s Missing: The Disappearance of Kristina Ann Perkins
In 1975, Kristina Ann Perkins was a dental assistant living in an apartment on W. Aster in Phoenix. On September 10th, Kristina and her fiance had a dinner date. He dropped her off at her home at about 10:30 p.m. and saw her go inside. She flashed the porch light at him as a sign all was well, and he took off.
That was the last time anybody claims to have seen Kristina. She was 21 years old. Today, Kristina would be 65.
Just seven days later, authorities found Kristina’s 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass at N. 51st Ave. and Bell Rd.
Suspicion fell on Kristina’s ex-husband, who told Kristina’s sister that the two had gotten into a fight. Ominously, he told her that Kristina was dead and that he would tell people she died of cancer. Authorities investigated the lead but found no evidence. The man has since died.
There are no public leads in Kristina’s case, but she still has family members who care about her and want some closure.
