Books I Read in 2019
I feel disappointed in my reading for the year. I am nowhere near as voracious as I used to be, and I need to step up my game. As a writer, I often feel disappointed in how much content I am consuming that is not on the Internet. In 2020, I hope to plan my reading (and stick to said plan).
Regardless of my own personal judgments of myself, I hope that you had a great year in reading according to your own personal goals.
Here is what I read this year:
“Dangerous Attraction: The Deadly Secret Life Of An All-American Girl “ by Robert Scott
I read this book to research an article I wrote about Katrina Montgomery. The crime occurred in the area where I grew up, so I felt compelled to cover it. I had actually never heard of the case before I heard about the book, so I was happy to discover it. It was a good read for anybody interested in true crime reporting.
“Full Disclosure” by Stormy Daniels
I checked out Full Disclosure from my local library because I wanted something I could breeze through at the beginning of the year. It was certainly interesting to read about Stormy’s life and the industry she has worked in.
