TLC, Duggar’s Big Family Album

This special came out in 2008, and it opens pretty solemnly. Jim Bob tries to tell us about six times what we’re about to see. He fumbles through it and we are supposed to laugh. This is interrupted by the kids yelling, “Johannah pooped on you!”

Working with so many kids was probably a nightmare.

The original narrator is back. Thank God it’s not Josh again.

Anyway, we are treated to the names of the kids once again, but now there’s a new addition: Jennifer. Josiah tells us, “It’s not a boy, but it’s still okay.” Jill says Johannah having a little sister will calm her down. Joseph says it’s okay because they have enough boys.

The narrator reminds us of the first special 14 Children & Pregnant Again! The kids talk about what it was like to have the cameras around.

Michelle tells us about each of the kids. She says Jana can manage a household better than she can, which is super sad because Jana is a teenager. She says Jill likes things “just so.” John David is sweet, but Jessa Blessa is a “ball of energy.” Jinger is the “giver” and the “talker.” Joseph is a leader but it also quiet “at times.” Josiah is the comedian, and Joy Anna is the “little mommy.” Jeremiah is more laidback than Jedediah, and Jason is “a big boy now.” James is “very busy” and Justin…
