Duggar Dysfunction: ‘Duggars in Dixie’

The mayor of Pigeon Forge called and wants the Duggars to participate in the 75th anniversary of Smoky Mountain National Park. So, they’re prepping the bus to visit Tennessee.

Of course, the family is running on “Duggar time” because after nearly 20 years they haven’t learned how to manage a family without inconveniencing everybody they come into contact with.

Michelle disciplines Jackson while Jim Bob takes the bus to a tire shop. Apparently he didn’t look at the bus until it was time to leave the house?

Anyway, at the tire shop he asks for a discount and saves $26, as far as I can tell. Jim Bob tell us how he grifts from local businesses. I am embarrassed for his family, considering that these people used to be his constituents and now he’s begging for free shit.

Jim Bob says that he often goes to hotels that cost $100 per night and offers them $35 per night instead. He says they usually say no but will take $45 a night. He says that most businesses are willing to do this for him. What a piece of work.

The family is still packing clothes even though they made us think it was only the bus they were waiting for. Jessa and Jinger packed everybody’s stuff for the trip. Jinger loves packing but hates unpacking. Wacky!

Michelle tells us that one of the boys had an accident and we see the boy looking sad. Why are they showing this to us? Every child has accidents, this is not unique to the Duggars.
