Duggar Dysfunction: ‘On the Road With 16 Children’
The Duggar family is hitting the road in a motor home with its 16 children, all narrated by a man who sounds like a Bill Hader character.
We meet the family once again. Jim Bob and Michelle are described as the “masters of the Duggar universe.” We learn that the group is planning a trip to Los Angeles and Disneyland. Some of the kids will see mountains for the first time.
The narrator assures us that “Michelle is not pregnant again . . . yet.” Michelle also shows us that “the boys” installed an intercom system in the house, and she can use it to tell Jill to put some kid down for a nap because I guess that’s her job.
Jim Bob says that he is going to “Duggarize” the motor home with bench seats. They also have to fix an electrical issue. They hook up a trailer for the boys dorm, and Joseph points out where each of the boys is going to sleep in there.
We are reminded that the family has a lot of “energetic little boys” who will be “interesting” to travel with. Jeremiah lassos the staircase and Jinger and Jessa play a jaunty tune on the piano as Michelle stocks up on first-aid supplies.
