Everybody Is Already Judging You. So Just Do It
Do you ever feel like you are constantly wringing your hands over something you should be doing? Something you’re scared to do because you’re afraid of judgement, the things other people will say and think about you?
There is so much I should be doing that I’m not. And a lot of the reason I have this mental block in my head about doing them is because I’m afraid of what people will think. Even the people I don’t care about.
Why do I care so much about what somebody I don’t care about says or does? Why does their opinion matter more than how much I want to do these things?
If there is anything the last few months have taught me, it’s that I can handle more than I think I can. My mind, not my ability to perform, holds me back.
Isn’t it also a little presumptive of me to put those negative thoughts in the minds of people who haven’t even expressed them?
You might as well do the things you’re afraid to do. People judge us every day based on so many things we put out there, from our hair and makeup to our bodies and our social media posts.
So why not make the most of the things you do have control over?
