Hostel Review: Garni Technikerhaus in Innsbruck, Austria

The view from my room

I didn’t necessarily intend to stay in Innsbruck, but I needed a good place to stop between train rides between Stuttgart and Milan. There weren’t many rooms available in Innsbruck, so I settled for the only hostel available — Garni Technikerhaus. It had decent reviews and was pretty affordable.

The Amenities

Honestly, this hostel is pretty sparse when it comes to amenities. I think they offer breakfast for guests, but I didn’t have any. My WiFi was free and worked well.

The Room

The room I stayed in was large with its very own sink. My room was clean but sparse, and it definitely felt a bit eerie at night.

The Cost

When I stayed, single rooms started at 39 euro per night, and doubles were 33 per person per night. A quad was available for 25 euro.

The Food
