I Read the ‘Sister Wives’ Book: Part 11 — You’ve Heard It All Before
Janelle says that the family had a lot of disagreements about how to parent when Logan was a baby. She was very permissive, which is something the other parents did not like.
The wives would move into different homes over time and become more autonomous. She describes herself as a “softy” but does not tolerate “disrespect.”
Janelle talks about the kids dating. The adults prefer them to go on group dates.
And that’s the end of the chapter.
Christine goes on about the different rules in each wife’s home. Again, we hear about the different relationships the children have with the wives. On Sundays Christine likes to do something fun with her kids.
Christine points out a weird rule in her home, which is that “when Ysabel is a brat, she can’t spend time with me.” Also, one of the biggest problems in the home is the girls’ wearing low necklines. Christine says she has asked the children not to read blogs about the show.
Christine and Janelle gravitate toward each other. Ironically, she adds, “I would like to move back into a house with a sister wife. I miss the communal aspect of our plural lifestyle. Recently, Janelle and I have been looking at houses together.” I don’t know what kind of shit went down to make Christine never want to life with the other wives again, but she has had a complete shift in belief.
Up next: Robyn tells us the same things.
