We’ve reached the end of the book, guys. Robyn says that she is the child of her father’s second wife, which meant that she was not publicly acknowledged as his daughter as a child. This was hard for her to understand as a child.

Apparently, Robyn was once at the park with her mom and siblings when he got up and left, pretending not to know who they were because he recognized a colleague.

Robyn didn’t come “out” as a polygamist, and this was hard for her at school where kids made fun of polygamists. As an adult, she didn’t know how to tell her friends that the guy she was dating had wives already.

Robyn didn’t believe Kody when he said they were going to be on TV, which makes me feel like Kody probably proposes shitty ideas all the time that the wives just dismiss.

Robyn says she considered not marrying Kody because of the show, and her family was super not into it. She says that some people think the plural lifestyle is too sacred to share in this way, and her mom was apparently the most bothered. She says that when people eventually saw the show, many changed their minds.

Eventually, her father agreed to be in an episode in which he helped them move to Las Vegas. If I remember correctly, her parents also appeared in the episodes where Robyn gives birth.
