I Read the ‘Sister Wives’ Book Part 5 — Robyn & She-Rah
Robyn writes that she was raised in a polygamous family and grew up in Utah. Her mom was the second wife. Just as she says in the show, she reveals that they had a “honeymoon experience that lasted for years and years.”
At 21, Robyn married somebody from her church. To be honest, she makes it sound like she got married way younger on the show. Robyn says that eventually she began dating again, this time not caring about looks or age. She wanted a family man. While visiting her cousin, Reba, and going to church, she saw Kody. She was attracted to him but also thought, “He is probably an idiot.”
Later, Robyn meets Kody and Meri personally. She reveals to Kody that she’s single, and soon her mom wants her to attend a dance in Lehi. I didn’t realize that churches had dances this often. There, she talks to Kody and Meri…
