The podcast Criminal, episode 71, details the story of a woman named Amber. After Amber moves into an Enumclaw, Washington, apartment, she notices strange sounds at night. The sounds don’t stop, and soon she realizes the very dark reality: somebody else has been living in her house.

The Story of Daniel LaPlante
Today, Daniel LaPlante is a triple murderer known for infamous crimes he committed as a 17-year-old. His victims were Priscilla Gustafson and her children, William and Abigail.
LaPlante grew up in an abusive home and was abused by a mental health professional as a minor. As he grew older, LaPlante would begin breaking into homes where he would steal and move things. He wanted people to know that their home had been violated.
