Recap: ‘16 and Pregnant: Leah’

From the episode description:

This West Virginia cheerleader is having twins with a boy she was dating for one month. And if that wasn’t already hard enough, she develops health complications that put the babies lives at risk.

Leah is a 17-year-old from Elkview, West Virginia. She lives in a crowded house with her mom, brother, and sister. Her dad doesn’t seem to be part of her life.

Leah says her mom, Dawn, spoils her. She has a lot of friends, and they are all cheerleaders. Her senior year is starting, and she’s dating a guy named Corey.

Leah says Corey drove her home from a party once and “one thing led to another.” She says she’s more mature than Corey (nah) and they just started dating. But things need to work out because she’s pregnant . . . with twins.

September — 22 Weeks Pregnant

“Me and Corey’s relationship” was supposed to be a rebound. Leah says she just got out of a relationship and was dating Corey for only a month before she got pregnant. They barely knew each other.

Corey and Leah sit on the swings and talk about having twins. I don’t know if the twins were conceived in a truck or if the relationship started in a truck, but that’s important to note because trucks will play a huge role in their relationship (even in Teen Mom 2).
