The only thing I really remember from this episode is that Felicia named her daughter Genesis.
Felicia is 17 and lives in Lewisville, Texas. She lives with her grandma, mom, and step-dad. At one point in the introduction, Felicia walks in on her step-dad doing this.
Felicia is a senior, and she’s determined to be the first in the family to graduate from high school. Felicia has a lot of friends and a boyfriend named Alex who is a barber and in a dance crew.
Felicia’s mom isn’t a fan of Alex, and she thinks they’re “always messing around.” She doesn’t have to wonder anymore because Felicia’s pregnant.
In the shot where they reveal her pregnant belly, you can see the back of a Reese’s Puffs box that I remember vividly. It’s a list of all the “things to do before you turn 18.” Those things included things no teenager could possibly accomplish, but anyway.
