Recap: ‘16 & Pregnant: Megan’

Megan gets pregnant and plans to raise the baby in her parent’s basement with the help of her video game playing boyfriend, Nathan. With no idea of how to earn a living after she graduates high school, Megan has to grow up fast.

I remember Megan’s sister most from this episode. She gets really pissed off at the boyfriend for talking shit about the military while he lives off her dad’s military paycheck.

I’m excited.

We meet Megan, who is throwing a frisbee and saying that she’s getting better at it. Megan is a junior in high school and lives in Alt, Colorado. She says she’s never been out of town, but I know that can’t be true because her dad’s in the military, right? Come on, MTV.

Megan is 16 and the baby of her family. We see her wearing a shirt that says, “Baby makes the belly go round” as she tells us that her dad and sister are both in the military. She says they’re only home a couple months of the year.

The narration tells us that Megan looks up to her sister, but it’s mostly just her and her mom at home. Oh yeah, and the love of her life, Nathan, who just moved in. AND THEY’RE ALREADY BOWLING. Jesus Christ.

Nathan used to party a lot, but now he’s apparently settled down. He graduated last year, but now he plays video games constantly. He fights with his parents over video games so much that they kicked him out of their house. Now, Megan’s mom let him move in while her dad goes to…
