Recap: ‘16 & Pregnant: Nikkole’
Nikkole is 15 years old from Monroe, Michigan, which is apparently between Detroit and Toledo. She lives in a very nice house with her mom and younger brother.
Nikkole tells us that she hates the spotlight but she’s “definitely a princess” and is constantly spoiled. She calls herself a cheerleader and a prankster who loves to TP houses. Her life is pretty “charmed,” and oh yeah, she’s pregnant.
September — 30 Weeks
Nikkole has a boyfriend named Josh, but he’s introduced to us as her ex. We already know he’s an asshole.
Nikkole is sitting in her lime green room talking to her friends Frankie and Becca. Frankie asks when Nikkole and Josh started having sex, and Nikkole says it took six months of dating. Nikkole says they never used condoms, but Josh always said he was going to “pull out.”
She says that Josh broke up with her when she told him she was going to keep the baby. Now, he’s dating some girl named Kyla. Nikkole clearly still wants to be with him, but they tell her that he always cheats on her. Nikkole says that’s not true, and they reassure her that it is. Her friend then says with the same tone as a concerned and caring mother, “He breaks up to cheat on you.”
