I feel like we’ve waited an eternity for the latest season of Sister Wives. I can’t believe we’re already on the 14th season of this show, but alas I am still here watching it.

I missed the opening on my watch, but apparently it’s a new one that looks like a somber “in memoriam” montage. We are then introduced to the family again, in case you’ve forgotten the last 10 years. We are even reminded of the time TLC added police sirens to Meri closing up her moving truck as the family hightails it out of Utah. Oh yeah, did you also know that Meri was catfished?

So, the family has been moving to Flagstaff for months. They are spread all over the city, and Kody doesn’t like it. Apparently, they still do not have a place for Christine to live, and I don’t think they explained where she and her kids were during this time.

We get a flashback to why the family decided to move, and it explains very little about why they moved. The adults allude to their kids being exposed to a lot of weird stuff at school and in need of a “safe place.” They really don’t get specific about what happened, so it’s really not convincing or compelling.

As Kody and co. are unpacking Meri’s house, the cops show up. Apparently the neighbors are pretty unhappy with her presence in their neighborhood, and even her landlord has dropped by to say she might rescind their contract. So Meri gets kicked out and plans to move back to Las Vegas. I reckon the neighbor’s problems…
