For a long time, the idea of finding resolution in the case of the Golden State Killer seemed like a long shot. And suddenly, it just happened. Could that mean we will one day find resolution in other California cold cases?

Elizabeth Short, 22, was killed and brutally mutilated in January of 1947. Her remains were left in Leimert Park, Los Angeles. Many people have a strong suspicion about who killed Short, and you can learn a lot more about the case in various books, podcasts, movies, and TV shows.
