1968 — James Earl Ray is arrested for conspiracy and murder related to the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

1994 — Joel Rifkin, mass murderer, is sentenced to 27 years in prison. In total, he would be sentenced to 203 years. He is believed to have killed 17 people.
