1985 — The remains of Putnam County John Doe are discovered two years after he died. His identity remains unknown, but he was found with a New York/New Jersey map, comb, playing cards, and dental floss.

1988 — Lisa Kimmell is killed while traveling from Colorado to Billings, Montana. After 14 years, her case was linked to a man who was already in prison.

2004 — Gina DeJesus is last seen near a payphone before she disappears. Gina was later found alive with two other women after she had been abducted by Ariel Castro. Castro was the father of one of Gina’s friends, so she trusted him to give her a ride.
