1911 — The Mona Lisa is stolen from the Louvre. It was stolen by an employee of the museum who wanted to return it to Italy. The painting was recovered two years later when he tried to sell it to a gallery.

2018 — The body of Mollie Tibbetts is found in Poweshiek County, Iowa. Cristhian Rivera is charged with first-degree murder.
