1964 — Edmund Kemper murders his grandmother, Maude Kemper, with a rifle. Kemper also shoots his grandfather in the driveway of the home, claiming he did not want him to find out that his wife was dead. Kemper was 15 years old at the time. He would enter a hospital and be released as an adult.

1990 — Manny Taboada and Tracy Paules, roommates, were killed by Danny Rolling. Rolling was arrested on September 7 that year in Ocala, Florida.
