1955 — Rosa Parks is arrested in Montgomery, Alabama, for refusing to move to the back of the bus so a white passenger can sit down.

1969 — Edward Davis, Los Angeles Police Chief, announces that he has arrest warrants for the Manson family members following two sets of 1969 murders.

1994 — Jim Bakker, televangelist and convicted fraudster, is released from jail.
