1874 — Jesse Pomeroy is found guilty of murder. He was the youngest person in Massachusetts to be convicted of first-degree murder.

1986 — Susan Cabot, an actress, is killed by her son in their Los Angeles home. He claimed that she attacked him, and he was faced with charges of voluntary manslaughter.

1990 — Tasha Santiago, a trans woman, is murdered in Oceanside, California. Jeffrey Hammons and Todd Thornton, both marines, were arrested and convicted in her murder. They had solicited her services as a sex worker.
