1959 — Christine Walker, Cliff Walker, and their two children are murdered in their Osprey, Florida, home. The murders remain unsolved.
1979 — Michelle Martinko is killed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The teenager had been stabbed in her car in a mall parking lot. Nearly 40 years later, her case thaws when Jerry Lynn Burns is matched to the scene via a familial DNA match. Burns was convicted of murder in February 2020.
