1914 — Jimmie Mercer is badly wounded after a run-in with a cattle rustler. He dies in Tucson a week later.
1988 — Glora Jean Leathers is shot by girlfriend Wanda Allen. Leathers and Allen had been in a fight minutes before. Police officers and Leathers’ mother were in the vicinity. Leathers died three days later of the injury. Allen was sentenced to death.
