1972 — Maureen Louise Sterling and Yvonne Lisa Weber, both 12, are found deceased 10 months after they go missing.

1984 — Robert Lee Willie is executed in the electric chair in Louisiana. He had been convicted of kidnap, rape, and murder in the case of Faith Hathaway.

1992 — Katie Beers, 10, is kidnapped in New York. She is held by John Esposito, a friend of her family. He held her in a bunker for 17 days. She was recovered, alive. Esposito would be found dead in jail cell in 2013.
