1916 — The last stage robbery in the Old West occurs. It is called the Jarbidge Stage Robbery. A mail wagon driver is ambushed in Jarbidge, Nevada. He is killed and money is stolen. Three are arrested.
1982 — “Delta Dawn,” also known as “Baby Jane,” is found. She is an unidentified child murder victim found in Moss Point, Mississippi. She was estimated to be about 18 months old. Her body was exhumed in 2009 to obtain a DNA sample, but not matches have been found at this time.
1997 — Ali Forney, also known as Luscious, is killed. Forney worked as a peer counselor and advocate for LGBTQ youth but was killed in Harlem. The Ali Forney Center was opened in 2002 to assist homeless youth.
