1877 — Kitty Leroy, a sex worker, trick shooter, and saloon owner, is killed in a murder-suicide.
1991 — The Austin yogurt shop murders occurs in Austin, Texas. The show was robbed and set on fire after four teenage girls were killed. The victims include Amy Ayers (13), Eliza Thomas (17), Jennifer Harbison (17), and Sarah Harbison (15).
1993 — Fairfax County Jane Doe is found by construction workers. She is between 26 and 31 and found in Centreville.
1995 — Randi Stacey Boothe-Wilson is found in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Her remains were not identified until 2019.
2009 — Susan Cox Powell goes missing and is presumed murdered. Her husband, Josh Powell, was the main person of interest in the case. He killed himself and their two young sons after a custody battle with Susan’s parents.
