1922 — William Desmond Taylor, a director and actor, is killed. His murder remains unsolved.

1974 — Lynda Ann Healy disappears from her apartment. She is a victim of serial killer Ted Bundy. Bundy would not be arrested until April of 1979.

2008 — Nicholas Browning enters his home and shoots his parents and two younger brothers at the age of 15. He pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree murder in 2009.
