2009 — Kenzie Marie Houk is shot and killed. The 11-year-old son of her fiance was found guilty of the murder in 2012. His conviction was overturned in 2018.

2016 — A 45-year-old Uber driver begins shooting at seemingly random locations, including an apartment complex, restaurant, and car dealership. He had picked up passengers in between the shootings. Six people are killed and two are injured. The driver pleaded guilty to all charges in 2019.
