1960 — Coors Brewing Company heir Adolph Coors III is murdered during a botched kidnapping attempt. Joseph Corbett Jr., an escaped murderer, was responsible.

2006 — Sonia Mejia, a pregnant woman, is murdered by an unknown assailant in her Taylorsville apartment. The individual is found by DNA to be responsible for the murder of Damiana Castilla and is dubbed the February 9 Killer.
2008 — Damiana Castillo is killed in Salt Lake County, Utah, by the February 9 Killer.
2009 — Dale Harrell dies after being attacked by his wife on January 14th in Maricopa County, Arizona. His wife, Marissa-Suzanna DeVault is ultimately sentenced to life in prison.
2010 — Mackenzie Cowell, a 17-year-old, is killed after leaving her Wenatchee, Washington, beauty school. Cowell’s classmate, Christopher Wilson, pleads guilty to manslaughter.
