1965 — The Wanda Beach Murders occur in Sydney. The victims, Marianne Schmidt and Christine Sharrock, were both 15. The case became one of the largest investigations in Australia’s history. It remains unsolved.

1992 — Shanda Sharer, 12, is murdered in Madison, Indiana, by four teenage girls.
