1983 — Roy DeMeo, a mobster, is found murdered in the trunk of his own car. He disappeared a few days earlier.

1987 — Robert Litchfield, a bank robber, is arrested in Lake Tahoe after escaping from prison. In the future, he escapes from prison and is recaptured again.

2008 — Brianna Denison is murdered after she is abducted from a Reno home. James Biela was convicted of her murder.
