1953 — Derek Bentley, 19, is hanged in London. He had been convicted of murdering a police officer. He would be posthumously pardoned in 1998.

1958 — Charles Starkweather, 19, and his girlfriend, 14-year-old Caril Ann Fugate, kill three people in Lincoln, Nebraska. They would ultimately go on a murder spree and road trip resulting in 10 deaths.

2001 — Jill-Lyn Euto, 18, is murdered in her apartment. She was found by her mother the next day. Her murder remains unsolved.
