1988 — Mary Rose Santos, 26, is last seen alive. Her body is found in March of 1989 along Route 88.
1988 — Timothy Wilson Spencer is sentenced for the murder of Susan Tucker. Spencer would become the first American serial killer to be convicted based on DNA.
1992 — Edna Phillips, 70, is murdered by two teenage girls in South Wales.
2006 — Destiny Norton, 5, is kidnapped from her home in Salt Lake City and murdered. Her body was recovered from the basement of her 20-year-old neighbor, Craig Roger Gregerson.
