1992 — Paolo Borsellino, an anti-mafia judge, is murdered by the mafia.
2004 — Lori Hacking is murdered. The Salt Lake City woman was reported missing by her husband, Mark Hacking, who later confessed to the crime.
2016 — Sierah Joughin disappears and is found dead three days later. James D. Worley was convicted of her murder, and he was sentenced to death. Worley had previously been convicted of assault and attempted kidnapping.
