1912 — The Villisca Axe Murders occur in Iowa. Six Moore family members are killed with two of their house guests. Six of the victims were children. The crime is officially unsolved, and one person was tried for the murders twice.
1991 — Jaycee Dugard is kidnapped in Meyers, California at 11 years old. She would be found in 2009, alive.
2016 — Christina Grimmie, a YouTuber and singer, is murdered by an obsessed fan as she is signing autographs after a performance.
