1962 — Anna Šlesers, 56, is strangled in her apartment in Boston. She is a victim of the Boston Strangler.
2007 — Jessie Marie Davis is murdered. Jessie was a pregnant 26-year-old who went missing from her Lake Township, Ohio home. The father of Jessie’s two children was convicted of the murder. He was sentenced to life in prison in 2008.
2015 — Dee Dee Blanchard is found dead in her Missouri home by Green County sheriff’s deputies. Her daughter, Gypsy Rose, was missing. The young woman had been known to community members to suffer from leukemia, muscular dystrophy, asthma, and brain damage. In truth, Gypsy had been a healthy woman who was forced into illness by her mother. Later, Gypsy Rose would plead guilty to second-degree murder. Nicholas Godejohn was convicted of first-degree murder.
