1944 — George Stinney, a black 14-year-old, is wrongfully executed for the murder of two white girls. He is the youngest person executed in the United States. His conviction was overturned 70 years after he was executed.

1991 — The Father’s Day Bank Massacre occurs during a bank robbery at the United Bank Tower in Denver. Four guards were killed in the robbery. The unknown perpetrator got away with $200,000.
