1991 — Four LAPD officers are indicted in the attack of Rodney King.

2001 — Danish killer Peter Kenneth Bostrøm Lundin is sentenced to life in prison for the murders of a woman and her two young sons.

2007 — Tynesha Stewart, a 19-year-old student, is murdered by a former boyfriend. The 27-year-old was mad that Stewart was in a new relationship. Timothy Shepherd was convicted of the crime in 2008.
