1917 — Albert Anastasia is convicted in the murder of George Turino.

1985 — Richard Ramirez, the “Night Stalker,” kills two women in Los Angeles. They are 34-year-old Dayle Yoshie Okazaki and 30-year-old Tsai-Lian “Veronica” Yu. He had also attacked 22-year-old Maria Hernandez.

2006 — Patrick Lane Moody, a convicted murderer, is executed in Raleigh. In 1994, he had killed the husband of his girlfriend.

2007 — Becky Klein is killed by her girlfriend, Nicole Abusharif. Abusharif was eventually sentenced to 50 years in prison.
