1860 — Ann Bilansky is executed by hanging in Minnesota after poisoning her husband with arsenic the year prior. She is the only woman in Minnesota to receive the death penalty.
1994 — Joey Buttafuoco is released from jail. He spent just over four months imprisoned.
1998 — Gerald Stano is executed after he is convicted of nine murders. He confessed to 41 murders. He received eight life sentences and one death sentence.
2008 — Steven Sueppel murders his wife and their four children with two baseball bats. He then dies after purposely wrecking the family van.
