1971 — Charles Manson and three followers receive the death penalty for the seven murders committed in1 969. The state abolished the death penalty for a short time, so all the sentences were converted to life sentences.
1993 — The bodies of Charlie Keever and Jonathan Sellers are found in San Diego near the Otay River. Eight years later, DNA helped solve the crime.
1995 — The body of a woman is found in Holt, California. She is inside a refrigerator and was killed by blunt force. Her identity is unknown and her murder remains unsolved.
