1986 — Sean Sellers kills his mother and stepfather as they sleep. Sellers tried to make it appear as if an intruder broke into their Oklahoma City home. When arrested, Sellers also confesses to killing a Circle K clerk in 1985.

1996 — Krystal Baker, 13, leaves her grandmother’s house during a fight. She uses a phone at a nearby store and apologizes. She wants somebody to come get here. Her body is found two hours later. Kevin Edison Smith was sentenced to life in prison in 2012 for her murder.

2008 — Eve Carson is shot and killed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Two men were charged with her murder and are serving life sentences. Their motive was robbery.
