1970 — Charles Manson releases an album called “Lies” in the hope that it will finance his murder defense.

1978 — Larry Flint, the publisher of Hustler magazine, is shot. A white supremacist and serial killer, Joseph Franklin, confessed to the crime years later.

2010 — The body of a woman (age 17 to 26) is discovered in Kendall County, Texas. The victim had undergone open heart surgery and extensive dental work. She had died at least a year before she was found. Her identity remains unknown.
