1837 — Mary Brinker, a teenager and slave, kills a child she is babysitting. She is executed. There was speculation Mary killed the young girl to prevent her from being sold.

1985 — Ruth Pelke is murdered by Paula R. Cooper as part of an apparent robbery.

2018 — Ana Kriégel is attacked and murdered in an abandoned house near Dublin. Two 13-year-old boys are responsible. Ana was 14.
