1988 — Laurie Dann enters a Winnetka, Illinois elementary school with a gun, kills one child, and wounds five others. She enters the home of a family and wounds one man living there. She then shoots and kills herself.
1996 — Highland Park Jane Doe is discovered in Highland Park, Michigan. She is between 15 and 25 and had been shot in the neck. Her death and identity are still unsolved.
2005 — The body of Loretta Lewis is found in Louisiana. She is the first of the Jennings 8 murders.
2010 — The West Memphis police shootings occur. Two police officers and two suspects are killed.
