1972 — Edmund Kemper murders Mary Ann Pesce and Anita Mary Luchessa after picking them up in Berkeley.

1973 — Edmund Kemper is indicted on eight counts of first-degree murder.

2008 — Rachel Morningstar Hoffman is murdered during a drug sting. She is acting as a police informant at the time.
