1980 — Walker County Jane Doe is discovered in Huntsville, Texas. She was murdered and between the ages of 14 and 20. Her case remains cold.
1996 — Gary Lee Triano, a real estate developer, is killed by a pipe bomb explosion in his car. His ex-wife, Pamela Phillips, was charged with the murder. She was sentenced to life in prison.
2003 — Charlene Downes, 14, disappears from Blackpool, England. Two men were tried in 2007 for her murder, but the jury could not reach a verdict. Officially, her case is unsolved.
2006 — Adrienne Levine, or Adrienne Shelly, is found dead in her apartment. She wrote, co-starred in, and directed Waitress. Initially, it was ruled a suicide, but a 19-year-old later confessed to the crime.
