1971 — The body of 19-year-old Gloria Gonzales is found a month after she goes missing from Houston, Texas.

2012 — Jordan Davis, 17, is murdered at a gas station in Jacksonville, Florida, by Michael David Dunn. Dunn was convicted of first-degree murder.

2014 — Protests in Mexico erupt when 43 students are missing and presumed murdered by a drug gang.
